Trivia[]

  • The backstory of the Man with Red Eyes can be found in the deleted scenes of the 2003 film. Here, his name is Hank and he is seen working alongside Jack to find the Tesseract though computer programming. Hank can even be seen wearing the same sweater as the Man with Red Eyes is wearing in the main film. Eventually, the two scientists find the Tesseract and are instantly warped off of Earth.
  • In the deleted scenes, Hank is shown to be familiar with Jack's family. This explains how he would have known about the children's intelligence and sought them out specifically.
  • In the 2003 movie, when Meg confronts the Man with Red Eyes for the second time and they are in a simulation of her classroom, his eyes temporarily change back to normal during the duration of the scene.
